Ordering:

Orders only accepted and confirmed once we confirm that the customers requirements can be met entirely to their satisfaction. Where it is not possible to recreate a design to the exact specification, we may suggest an alternative – upon acceptance will the order be deemed as live and payment will be taken.

We require all details to be forwarded for style, colour, fabrics, quantities, sizes and decoration.

Once garments have been manufactured or customised to order specifications, the goods cannot be exchanged or altered.

The reproduction of the designs, logos or artwork by Veritas is only carried out on the express condition, and it is assumed that, you either own or have full authority and permission to reproduce the item from the holder of the relevant Copyright or Trademark.

As goods are made to order normal delivery guidelines are 2-3 weeks from receipt of order or payment. However, some bespoke garments may take up to 8 weeks to produce. As prices from our suppliers are subject to change it may be necessary to inform you should this occur also occasionally garments are discontinued by the manufacturer, in this instance Veritas will endeavour to find a suitable alternative and will advise you accordingly. Delivery dates will be confirmed upon receipt of order.

Carriage:

On single items and postable orders, carriage will be charged at recorded first class postage costs. Orders up to £300 (excluding VAT) will be charged at £8.50. Orders over £300 (excluding VAT) will be carriage free. Any shortages or damages should be reported in writing within 7 days of receipt of delivery.

Samples:

Samples are available undecorated, these items will be invoiced plus carriage. If the goods are returned in original condition within 14 days, or within an agreed timescale, the invoice will be cancelled.

Quality:

Veritas Corporate take great care to ensure the highest quality of garments and materials are used for all orders. However, due to the nature of processes such as embroidery, heat printing or screen printing, incorrect washing can cause damage to both the garment and the decoration, therefore do not iron directly onto the print (iron reverseside). All products supplied should be washed or cleaned in accordance with the washing instructions provided on the garment label. Visual Branding will accept no responsibility if instructions are not followed precisely. Genuinely faulty items will be replaced or a credit note issued.

Specification:

Sizes, measurements and descriptions of goods are for guidance only and Veritas Corporate cannot guarantee absolute consistency of size, material, proportion, colour or shade.

Settlement Terms:

For account holders, Payment strictly Net. 30 days from the date of the invoice unless otherwise agreed in writing and payable directly to Veritas Corporate Ltd.. We may charge interest at the rate of 12% per annum on the amount outstanding on an account from the date due of payment until such time as payment is received. In the event of the account being passed for collection, a collection charge of 10% may be levied on such accounts in addition to any legal charges payable. All outstanding orders for accounts out for collection will be cancelled without question.

Passing Of Property:

The Goods shall remain the sole and absolute property of the company as legal and equitable owner until such time as the intending purchaser shall have paid to the Company the agreed price together with the full price of any other goods the subject of any other contract with the Company.

Goods supplied by the Company shall be the purchasers risk immediately on delivery to the purchaser or into custody on the purchasers behalf (whichever is the sooner) and the purchaser should therefore be insured accordingly.

The Company may for the purpose of recovery of its goods enter upon any premises where they are stored or offered sale or where they are reasonably thought to be stored or offered for sale and may repossess the same. In particular, but without prejudice to the generality of the forgoing, the Company may at any time enter upon the buyers premises if:-

i) There shall be any default in payment on the due date by the buyer to the Company.

ii) The buyer being a company shall enter into liquidation (other than voluntary liquidation for amalgamation or reconstruction) or shall have a receiver appointed over the whole or part of its undertaking or assets or,

iii) Being an individual or firm the buyer shall commit an act of bankruptcy or enter into an arrangement of composition with or the benefit of its creditors.

iv) Payment by cheque shall be construed as being received at the time that the company’s bankers receive the funds form the purchaser’s bankers. In the event that the Purchaser sells the goods or any part of them to a third party prior to property in the same having passed under condition ii) above, the proceeds of sale shall be received by the Purchaser on The Company’s account and keep separate from the Purchaser’s or other monies, the Purchaser having sold the goods as The Company’s bailee and owing fiduciary duties to the Company in relation thereto and at any time before payment is received from such a third party. The company shall have the right to call for an assignment of such third party debts.

Claims:

Shortage or damaged goods must be reported initially by telephone or email within 24 hours of receipt and confirmed in writing within 3 DAYS of receipt. Non delivery must be empowered initially by telephone within 6 DAYS of invoice date and confirmed in writing within 8 DAYS of invoice. Claims made outside these time limits cannot be accepted by Veritas.

The Company reserves the right to make scheduled deliveries each of a part only of the overall amount and value of goods ordered by the buyer. Where any such scheduled delivery is made the goods comprised within each delivery shall be deemed to have been sold and delivered under a separate contract for the sale of the goods the subject of such delivery and will be invoiced separately. The Buyer will pay for the goods delivered in each scheduled delivery without set off, counter claim or deduction in respect of any previous or future scheduled delivery or other goods ordered from the Company.

Cancellation of Order:

You may return carriage paid any product to us within 30 days of receipt for a refund less original delivery cost providing it is unused and with its original packaging and providing our original invoice has been paid.

To return an item simply send it to us at the below address along with the picking list or invoice and a note requesting either a refund or exchange. Returned items must be in their original packaging and be in a re-saleable condition.

We cannot accept the return of any product or garment that has been embroidered or printed with a logo or personalised in any other way. We also cannot accept the return of any swimwear or underwear, whether worn or not.

Refunds on an order will be issued as soon as possible. You should allow up-to 30 days before the refund appears on your card statement. Please allow extra time for certain busy periods during the year.

Accuracy of Content:

We make every effort to ensure that specifications and product details are correct and have taken every care to ensure that the colours and photographs shown on this website give a true representation of the garments, though we cannot guarantee this in every case. We reserve the right to make changes to the items shown on this website. The prices quoted on this website are valid for Internet sales only and we reserve the right to change prices without notice.

When an order is placed the customer will be notified by email to confirm receipt of the order.

Price:

All prices are quoted in £ sterling and exclusive of post and packing and exclusive of VAT and any other promotional offer and discount scheme. Any applicable post and packing and VAT is payable by you in addition to the contract price.

Although we endeavour to be accurate with all product details and prices, if a product or price is incorrect due to a typographical error we have the right to refuse or cancel any order whether or not the order has been confirmed. If your credit card has already been charged and we subsequently cancel your order, we will immediately issue a credit to your credit card account to the value of the original debit.

We have made every effort to display the colours of our clothing ranges as accurately as possible. However, as the actual colours that you see will depend on your monitor, we cannot guarantee that your screen will accurately render the exact shade of the product that is delivered to you.

Sizes and colours given on this website are approximate and for guidance only.

Availability:

All items are subject to availability. There may be a small delay if on occasion an item is more popular than we expected or our suppliers, without advance warning, cancel or discontinue styles.

In these events you will be offered an alternative or your order may go on “Back Order”. You may also be offered the opportunity to cancel the order if you prefer. We will contact you to discuss your order if necessary.

Non Delivery, Damage in Transit :

Veritas shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages, charges or expenses caused by any delay in delivering goods. In the unlikely event that your product appears lost or is damaged in transit please contact us immediately. You must keep the original packing in case you have any reason to return your purchase.

UK and EU Distance Selling Regulations:

Our returns and refunds policy is in accordance with the EU Distance Selling Directive which came into force in October 2000 and is part of UK law under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000. This law applies to all transactions within the UK where a consumer does not meet the vendor. Contracts between businesses are not governed by these regulations.

Your Rights As A Consumer:

In accordance with the law, you have a 7 day ‘cooling off period’ in which you have the right to cancel your purchase and receive a full refund. You do not need to give a reason for cancelling your purchase. We are obliged to refund your payment in full, minus delivery costs, within 30 days of your cancellation.

Complaints:

We aim to provide a high standard of customer service. If however we do get it wrong we will do everything in our power to put it right! We will acknowledge any complaint either in writing or emailed to us
